Our Teachers

Certification Level I. Music Together Teacher. Sandy is an Early Childhood Music Educator with a BA in Piano Performance at the Boston Conservatory, MA in early childhood music education at Teacher's College, Columbia University, New York City, and MA in Arts Administration at Shanghai Conservatory of Music. Sandy grew up playing the piano and violin, as well as singing and dancing. She took her Music Together Teacher Traing in New York City with co-founder Lili in 2003. And began her teaching journey as a teacher in Shanghai in  2011 and now, with her two children Madison and Hudson, she enjoys the program even more as a parent. Besides music, Sandy also enjoys oil painting and yoga. She is currently the The LIFT Ukelele teacher, has is a Certified Health Nurtrition Coah from the Harvard Medical School. 

Ms. Sandy has been teaching since 2011. 

Certification Level I. Music Together Teacher. Maggie is a graduate from Berklee College of Music in Boston major in Vocal Performance. Music has always been a big part of Maggie’s life as a young child. She began her piano lesson at age of four and performed in numerous of music performances and shows through her music years. Maggie discovered and experienced the joy of Music Together as a parent when her son Benjamin was 1 and half years old in 2013. With her passion of singing, she was trained and became a registered Music Together teacher by Susan Darrow, the Music Together LLC, CEO in 2014.  She loves children, loves music and singing and certainly loves Music Together Sandiano team,and surely looking forward to spreading the LOVE musically to all our families of MTS!

Maggie has been teaching since 2014 Fall.

Nina has loved children, piano, and music since she was young, and she has an even greater passion for singing. As a mother of two, she truly enjoys accompanying children on their learning journey. During her parental leave, she discovered Music Together and realized how seamlessly music can be integrated into daily life, bringing joy and companionship to children’s growth. Nina feels incredibly grateful for this priceless gift that Music Together has given her and her children, especially after experiencing the challenges of the 2021 pandemic. It reinforced her belief in the vital role of music in everyday life. In her home, every day feels like a “music class,” where her little ones naturally embrace singing as an essential part of their lives—just like drinking water. In 2023, Nina completed the Music Together Teacher Training and officially became a certified Music Together instructor. She is deeply thankful for the incredible support from Sandy at MT Sandiano and the entire teaching team. Stepping out of her comfort zone and leaving the familiar world of international business management, she now hopes to share her love for children and music with more families. She looks forward to making music together with everyone—so don’t forget to join Nina in singing her and her little ones’ favorite Hello Song!
